Procter & Gamble committed to a ‘Bright Future’
ACE detergents has been linked to the global initiative of the company Procter & Gamble, which focuses on the development of children between 0 and 13 years old, with a focus on "Vivir, Aprender y Avanzar". Through its campaign "Blancos Brillantes sin Restregar para un Futuro Brillante", the detergent brand is donating 310 computers from One Laptop Per Child to the Marina Orth Foundation, thereby increasing their provision of equipment by 62%.
"Thanks to this campaign, more children of Antioquia may have their own computer with internet access both at school and at home. The 310 computers will be distributed to the Marina Orth School of the Vereda of Aguas Frías, the Educational Institution El Progreso of Carmen de Viboral and the School Camino de Paz of Las Golondrinas Foundation", assures the company in a news release.
Thanks to the work of the Marina Orth Foundation and the detergents brand ACE, it will be achieved to promote the lives of 1,610 students and their families. The goal for 2011 is to hit 2,500 children.
